NO GAP CHECK-UP AND CLEAN
Eligible health fund members may pay no gap for a check-up and clean at Hayat Dental in Chippendale, near Ultimo and opposite UTS. We check your cover before your appointment so you know your expected out-of-pocket cost.
Offer conditions: no gap applies to eligible check-up and clean items when your fund’s benefit covers the full fee. Fluoride and X-rays depend on clinical need and your policy. Annual limits and waiting periods apply. Without eligible cover, the check-up and clean is $249.

WHAT NO GAP MEANS
The gap is the difference between the dentist’s fee and your health fund’s benefit. When the benefit for an eligible item covers the full fee, there is no gap to pay.

HOW CLAIMING WORKS
No claim forms and no waiting for a refund.

Your health fund card lets our team check your cover and process eligible claims.

Eligible items are claimed through HICAPS at the end of your visit, so you don’t need to claim later.

If your fund’s benefit covers the full fee for your check-up and clean, there is no gap. If it doesn’t, you pay only the out-of-pocket amount we confirmed with you beforehand.
Benefits depend on your fund, level of cover, waiting periods and annual limits, and each claim is deducted from your annual limit.
PRIVATE HEALTH FUNDS
Accepting your fund and being part of its preferred provider network are different things, and both affect what you pay.

We claim eligible items on the spot through HICAPS with major Australian health funds, including HCF, Medibank, nib, HBF and CBHS. Accepting your fund doesn’t mean every visit is no gap; your benefit is set by your fund and your policy.

We are part of the CBHS Choice Network, which can mean higher rebates and reduced or no gap on selected preventive items for eligible CBHS members.

Eligible children aged 0 to 17 may have basic dental services covered by Medicare under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule.
And other major Australian health funds, claimed on the spot through HICAPS.
