01
She wanted to change the shape and colour of her teeth. Her side front teeth (laterals) were short and small, which made her smile look uneven.
02
Gum work would give the small teeth better proportions, and moving them into position would make the veneers look natural.
03
Each step made the next one smaller. Gum reshaping gave the small teeth more visible length, aligners moved them into position, and whitening set the shade before the veneers were matched to it.
Composite (resin) veneers suited her budget and timeline. They cost less and are quicker than porcelain, but need more maintenance.
04

COMMON QUESTIONS
Composite (resin) veneers are built up in the chair, cost less and are quicker, but stain and chip more easily. Porcelain is made in a lab, lasts longer and holds its colour.
Side front teeth that are narrower or shorter than usual. Gum reshaping, orthodontics and veneers can bring them into proportion.
Usually several years, with polishing and occasional repairs. Porcelain generally lasts longer.
