This patient was in the army and fitted his appointments in between military travel. His upper front tooth sat out of line, several teeth were out of position, and his gums were painful, bleeding and infected.
He also showed more gum than he liked when he smiled, which made his teeth look short.

The gums needed to be treated and stable before any cosmetic work. Moving the teeth into better positions first would also mean less tooth needed to be prepared for veneers later.

Gum treatment
We treated the gum infection and inflammation first, so the gums were healthy before anything else.

Gum lift
A gum lift reduced the amount of gum on show, so the upper teeth looked better proportioned.

Invisalign
Clear aligners moved the out-of-position teeth into line.

Porcelain veneers and whitening
Ten porcelain veneers were placed on the upper teeth, and the lower teeth were whitened to match.
