CASE STUDY · INVISALIGN
A corporate professional in his 20s, already a regular check-up patient, had very crowded teeth with his canines sticking out. He chose Invisalign and finished ahead of schedule.

01
He had been seeing us for routine check-ups and cleans, and he had always been concerned about how his teeth were positioned. His canines stuck out and the front teeth were crowded.
His mouth was otherwise healthy. His concern was the look of his smile, and he wanted to improve it.
02
There was severe crowding in the upper arch. Without enough room, the canines had been pushed forward and out of line, which made them stand out when he smiled.
03
We talked through both braces and Invisalign. He chose Invisalign because it suited his working life better.
Aligners need to be worn about 22 hours a day and only taken out to eat and clean. He was happy with that and felt he could commit to it. Before starting, he approved the planned end result.

The tooth movements were planned on a 3D scan, and he approved the finished result before starting.
2
Invisalign
Aligners were worn 22 hours a day and changed on schedule, with regular progress reviews.
3
Retainers
Retainers hold the new positions after the aligners finish.
Planned for 15 months · Finished in about 12
05
Because he wore his aligners consistently, he finished in about a year instead of the expected 15 months. His teeth are straight and the canines now sit in line with the rest of his smile.
Straight teeth are easier to clean and maintain, which lowers the risk of decay and gum problems.

Payment plans are available for orthodontic treatment, so the cost can be spread over the course of treatment. See what affects the cost of Invisalign.

COMMON QUESTIONS
It depends on how much movement is needed and how consistently the aligners are worn. This case was planned for 15 months and finished in about 12. Some milder cases take around six months.
About 22 hours a day. Take them out to eat, to drink anything other than water, and to brush. Wearing them less slows treatment down.
In many cases, yes, by creating space and guiding the canines into line. Some severe cases need extra steps, and we will tell you after your assessment.
No. Straight teeth are easier to clean, which helps your gums and lowers decay risk. A balanced bite also spreads chewing forces, so teeth wear more evenly.
